Foster care topic of state conference
The University and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services are sponsoring a free conference for social workers, prospective foster parents and first responders. Keeping Our Eyes on the Prize: 21st Annual Conference on African American Child Well-Being and Family Permanency will be held June 7 in the Bone Student Center.

Bowman Farewell Dinner July 26
The Presidential Farewell Dinner in honor of President Al Bowman and first lady Linda Bowman is set for 6 p.m. Friday, July 26, at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. Registration deadline is July 5.
