Illinois State University’s Jazz Ensembles I and II, directed by School of Music Associate Professor Tom Marko, will perform in concert on Friday, Sept. 30, at 8 p.m. in the University’s Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall.
Tickets are $8 for general admission, $7 for faculty and staff members and $6 for students and seniors.
The concert will feature a number of big band jazz selections from the Count Basie library as well as music by Bob Mintzer, Maynard Ferguson, Bob Washut and Alan Baylock.
