Illinois State University has received the highest award for its leadership in developing politically engaged students as the only recipient of the 2011 New York Times Political Engagement Project (PEP) Program of Excellence Award.
The solution for a local troubled school district is more complicated than shuttering its doors. This was one of the conclusions in a study conducted by Educational Administration and Foundations Associate Professor and Assistant Chair Joseph Pacha and Economics Interim Chair and Associate Professor Sherrilyn Billger.
