Illinois State University’s Unlimited Dance Team (UDT) is helping faculty and staff show off their dance moves for a good cause with Dancing with the Faculty/Staff Stars. The fundraiser will be on Friday, Feb. 17, at 7 p.m. in Braden Auditorium and will gather items to donate to The Baby Fold. Admission is $5 without a donation, $3 for an adult with a donation, $2 faculty/staff with a donation and $1 for students with a donation.
Donation items requested by The Baby Fold include potty chairs, laundry baskets, diapers and any gift cards from Target, Wal-Mart and Meijer.
The board of UDT chose to donate to The Baby Fold after exploring many not-for-profit organizations in the area. “The mission of assisting children hits home for all three of us on the UDT executive board,” said Emilie Gill, the UDT secretary.
