Rena Shifflet, C&I, presented Creating Oral Histories and Interior Monologues Through Digital Storytelling at the National Council for the Social Studies annual conference in Denver, Colo., and Fostering Global Citizenship: Creating Citizens of the World at the National Network for Educational Renewal annual conference in Normal.  Shifflet, Vicky Morgan and Nancy Latham, C&I, presented The Missing Piece of Teacher Education at the annual conference of Critical Issues in Education in Chicago.

Eurvine Williams, C&I, and Mohamed Nur-Awaleh, EAF, wrote Education Reform at What Cost? which was included in The International Journal of Learning, Vol. 17.

Elizabeth Skinner, Pauline Clardy and Maria Zamudio, C&I, presented International Partnerships for Bilingual Education: Critical Life and Field Experiences at the National Network for Educational Renewal annual conference in Normal.

Keith Tilford, C&I, presented PDS and Schools-to-Watch Recognition: The Story of One Middle School Principal at the annual meeting of the National Association for Professional Development Schools in Orlando, Fla., and Schools-to-Watch Principals: How they Make Sense of their Roles and Powerful Social Studies: The Story of an Eighth Grade American History Teacher at the annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association in Denver, Colo.

Vicky Morgan, Nancy Latham and Rena Shifflet, C&I, authored Middle School Teachers’ Ability to Identify Creative Thinking in Their Students, which was published in The Chronicle of Middle Level Education Research, Vol. 10.

Amanda Quesenberry, C&I, co-authored Addressing Challenging Behaviors in Head Start: A Closer Look at Program Policies and Procedures, which was published in Topics in Early Childhood Special Education, Vol. 30, and Perspectives of Roles During Parent-child Interactions of Filipino Immigrant Mothers in Early Child Development and Care.

Robyn Seglem, C&I, co-authored Privileging Students’ Voices: A Co-teaching Philosophy That Evokes Excellence in All Learners, which was published in The English Journal, Vol. 100.
