A memorial celebration for Heinz Russelmann, former Department of Health Sciences faculty member and program director, will take place on Sunday, April 10, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Old Main Room. The memorial event will be followed by an open house with refreshments from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in 309 Felmley Hall of Science.
Those wishing to attend should RSVP by clicking on memorial or by calling Alumni Relations at 438-2586. The online RSVP option allows those attending to share memories and photos.
Russelman was a faculty member in the Department of Health Sciences from 1976 to 1995, where he directed the environmental health program. The Heinz Russelmann Scholarship was established in 1992 and is awarded to juniors or seniors majoring in environmental health.
