Jazz combos in concert April 8

Illinois State University Jazz Combos I & II will perform in a free concert on Friday, April 8, at 8 p.m. in Kemp Recital Hall. 

The groups will perform a wide variety of musical styles including straight ahead jazz, Latin, ballads and funk.  In addition to music from the standard jazz repertoire, the groups will perform original music and arrangements by student ensemble members. The Jazz Combos are directed by Illinois State School of Music faculty members Paul Nolen and Tom Marko.
