Anthony Hermann, assistant professor of psychology at Bradley University, will present Buffering the Impact of Ostracism with Acceptance: The Role of Attachment Style at 3:30 p.m. today in 48 DeGarmo Hall. The Department of Psychology and the Industrial-Organizational/Social Psychology graduate sequence are hosting this colloquium.
Hermann’s research focuses on how self-evaluations are maintained and how they are related to interpersonal processes. He is particularly interested in how people typically perceive others' evaluations and the degree to which many phenomena that are associated with self-esteem can be explained by these social evaluations.
The April 26 Report will be the last issue for the semester.
