The Origin of the Heavy Elements in the Universe is the topic of the physics colloquium presented by University of Notre Dame Physics Professor Ani Aprahamian at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, in 210 Moulton Hall.
Her research focuses on the study of nuclear structure effects such as shapes, masses, decay lifetimes and probabilities, and how they can influence stellar processes.
The April 26 Report will be the last issue for the semester.
