In the fall of 2011, Illinois State University will undergo a site visit for continued certification by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). As part of the recertification process, the University conducted a self-study focusing on areas such as rules compliance, academic standards, academic support and issues of gender and diversity.
Jan Murphy, associate provost, chaired the certification process which involved individuals from throughout the campus and community.
The NCAA Certification Steering and sub-committees will host an open forum on Wednesday, April 20, at 4 p.m. in the Faculty and Staff Commons to share the results of the self-study and answer any questions about the NCAA certification process. All are welcome to attend.
The April 26 Report will be the last issue for the semester.
