This year’s SECA (State and University Employees Combined Appeal) campaign at Illinois State University got off to a great start, but the end is fast approaching. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to make a difference.
School of Communication Administrative Aide Denise Thomas, director of the campaign, is urging faculty, staff and administrators to respond now as the campaign ends Saturday, Oct. 31.
“The response so far has been fantastic, but this is the final week of the campaign,” Thomas said. “Our goal to increase participation to over 500 employees is in sight. The community needs are greater than ever so we want to do as much as we can. Like the campaign brand says ‘1 can make a difference.' We are hoping that everyone in the University community can think of themselves as that final ‘1’ to reach our University goal.”
By giving a few dollars a month through payroll deduction, employees can make a difference in the agency of their choice.
Please consider giving. Information is available in the packet that was sent out on Oct. 5, or questions regarding the campaign can be directed to Denise Thomas at dethoma@ilstu.edu or 438-3645.
