Program on Social Security and Medicare

A representative of the Bloomington Social Security Office, Elaine Popejoy, will present the program "What SURS Participants Need to Know About Social Security/Medicare" from noon to 1 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Old Main Room on Tuesday, Oct. 27.

The purpose of the program, co-sponsored by the Annuitants Association and Human Resources with assistance from University Advancement, is to inform those who might be eligible for Social Security benefits, as well as a SURS pension, of the various policies that could impact them so they can plan accordingly.

All members of the Illinois State community, including retirees, faculty and staff, are welcome to attend. No reservation is needed, and brown-bagging is encouraged.
