Cultural displays, thought-provoking films and music will all be part of Illinois State University’s International Week. Events during the week are sponsored by the International House (I-House) program. All events listed are free and open to the public.
• Tuesday, Oct. 20 (today) – International films: The Kite Runner at 1, 4:45 and 9 p.m. and Argentina, Indymedia, and the Questions of Communication at 3:15 and 7 p.m.
• Wednesday, Oct. 21 – Fine arts displays, activities and music by international student organizations from 2 to 11 p.m.
• Thursday, Oct. 22 – Displays of international clothing. Faculty, staff and students are also encouraged to wear international apparel throughout the day.
The culmination of International Week will be the Cultural Gala on Friday, Oct. 23, at 6:30 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Brown Ballroom. The event, sponsored by the United International Association in conjunction with many student organizations, will feature music and entertainment by various international student organizations.
