Illinois State University alumnus Nick Percoco will present “Malware, The Hidden Threat” today at 3 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Circus Room as part of CyberSecurity month. Refreshments will be served.
Percoco, a senior vice president of SpiderLabs at Trustwave with more than 14 years of experience in information security, will talk about the three types of malware that have been used to commit some of the largest data breaches in history.
Percoco leads a team than has performed more than 500 cyber forensic investigations globally and thousands of ethical hacking and application security tests for clients. He has spoken to public and private audiences throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia.
Faculty and staff are invited to log on to the helpdesk Web site to learn more about cyber security and to take week three and four quizzes for a chance to win an iPod Nano or Xbox 360.
