Graduate Council seeking nominations

The Nominating Committee of the Graduate Council is seeking names of full graduate faculty members who are interested in serving on the Council. The names will be considered for the spring ballot.

The Graduate Council will have seven open positions on the spring 2010 ballot, including two positions each on the Admissions, Curriculum, and Research Committees, and one position on the Membership Committee.

One year must lapse between the expiration of an elected Graduate Council member’s term and a new nomination. Those interested should submit their name and committee of interest to keshenne@ilstu.edu by Nov. 12. An applicant whose name is chosen for the spring ballot will be asked at that time to confirm their willingness to serve.
