Democratic Internationalism subject of Nov. 4 seminar

Photo of Alan Gilbert“The Title of a Talk: Democratic Internationalism and the Folly of the Inter-Democratic Peace Hypothesis” will be the subject of a presentation by Alan Gilbert on Wednesday, Nov. 4, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Founders Suite. The event is free and open to the public.

Gilbert is a professor in the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. His teaching and research focuses on democratic theory, international relations, social theory and the history of political thought. His presentation is part of Illinois State University’s International Studies Seminar Series exploring topics in global politics and culture. The seminar series is organized by the Unit for International Linkages, Office of International Studies and Programs, and the Women's and Gender Studies Program.
