A/P Council seeking award nominations

The Administrative/Professional Council is seeking nominations for both the Administrative/Professional Distinguished Service Award and the A/P Emerging Leader Award.

The Distinguished Service award acknowledges demonstrated outstanding contributions by A/P employees to the work of the University. Materials describing the award, including criteria, eligibility and application procedures, are available in the awards section of the A/P Council Web site.

The Emerging Leader Award recognizes a new A/P staff member whose professional performance has shown tremendous promise for and commitment to the University community.

The award criteria are based on significant contributions to the campus community and university goals as set forth in Educating Illinois. A full description of the award, including criteria, eligibility and application procedures, is available in the awards section of the A/P Council Web site.

Nomination materials need to be submitted to Rachel Calhoun, chair of the A/P Council Awards committee, Campus Box 8000 Alumni Center, by Dec. 15. Awards will be presented at the Founders Day Convocation on Thursday, Feb. 18.
