blog iconWHAT IS A PERSONAL BLOG?
Share your opinions as well as your favorite photos and videos. Personal blogs are fun and easy to get into, and they're great for anyone who wants to share content on the Web.

"We're pleased to offer this new communication method to faculty, staff and students," said Carla Birckelbaw, director of Computer Infrastructure Support Services. "Watch for even more services to be launched in my.ilstu.edu in the future."

INSTRUCTORS
Use your personal blog to host your syllabus and other classroom supplements. Post assignments, course updates and links to other websites. Make your personal blog the central place for all your students to find information about the classes you teach.

STUDENTS
Embed your favorite videos from YouTube and other popular websites. Share your thoughts and feelings about whatever is going on in your life. Post notes to share with your classmates and write about your experiences at Illinois State.

HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY BLOG?
Jump right in! Go to http://my.ilstu.edu/blogs/ and click "Log in" to activate your personal blog. You can immediately get started writing, uploading photos or adding videos to your personal blog page.
