Board of Trustees Approves Janitorial Supplies, Renovation Project

Illinois State University’s Board of Trustees today approved the purchase of janitorial supplies and a plan for renovation work on the first floor of Edwards Hall.

Board members approved the purchase of janitorial supplies from AmSan LLC for an amount not to exceed $600,000 for FY 2013. AmSan has been the low bidder for the past several years in a contract through the Illinois Public Higher Education Cooperative.

Board members also approved a plan to renovate the first floor of Edwards Hall to convert a clinical laboratory into office and research space for the Mennonite College of Nursing. The $780,000 approved by the Board includes funds for design and construction.
