Junior high and high school students from across Illinois will compete in technology education-related challenges during the 11th annual Technology Day event on Friday, Sept. 30, in Illinois State University’s Bone Student Center Brown Ballroom. Student competitions will start at approximately 9:45 a.m. and conclude by noon.
Technology Day is a hands-on competition open to Illinois students in grades 7 – 12. Activities are based on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts. This year’s competitions are centered on engineering design, structural technology, invention and innovation, transportation technology and flight endurance.
Technology Day is hosted by the Illinois Technology Student Association (IL-TSA), in conjunction with the Illinois State University Technology Education Program and the Technology Education Collegiate Association (TECA).
