Madrigal Dinners Dec. 8-11

Performances of "Amahl and the Night Madrigals" will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the Illinois State University Alumni Center, 1101 N. Main St. in Normal. Tickets for the 2010 Madrigal Dinners are $40 for the general public and $30 for students, seniors, and groups of eight or more.  For reservations call (309) 438-2535 or visit ticketmaster.com (search Madrigals).

The Madrigal Dinners, now in their 55th year, feature traditional and contemporary madrigal holiday singing by Illinois State's acclaimed Madrigal Singers.  Performances are scheduled Dec. 8, 9, 10 and 11 at 7 p.m. Pre-dinner drinks are available beginning at 6:30 p.m. those evenings.  There will also be a 1 p.m.performance on Dec. 11.
