The Center for Emerging Entrepreneurs will present a series of seminars during May and June to help small business owners uncover the secrets of social media marketing. All seminars will be held in the Kasten Board Room of Illinois State University's Alumni Center, 1101 N. Main, Normal.
The Let's Get Personal social media marketing seminar will cover the use of Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Four Square social media tools to create strong customer loyalty. The seminar will be held on Tuesday, May 10, at 6:30 p.m.
Participants in the See Me, Hear Me seminar will learn about how podcasting and vlogging can promote businesses, services, products and concepts. The session will cover how to use audio, video and image-based social marketing via You Tube and Flicker to support social media marketing campaigns. The seminar will be held on Thursday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m.
The Bringing It All Together seminar will show participants how to make different social media accounts and profiles work together and how to measure the success of the tools. That seminar will be held on Tuesday, June 7 at 6:30 p.m.
The Center for Emerging Entrepreneurs fosters economic development by addressing the educational and business development needs of emerging entrepreneurs. Services include coaching, direct assistance, individualized consultation, mentoring and educational service. The Center for Emerging Entrepreneurs is a joint initiative of Illinois State University and the Economic Development Council of the Bloomington- Normal Area.
