Illinois State University has awarded 2,169 undergraduate students the honor of being on the Dean's List for scholarship in their chosen fields of study.
Media who wish to publicize their local students' accomplishments can access the information on the Registrar's Web site at http://www.registrar.ilstu.edu/deanslist. Once on the site, choose "go" to get a list of all the Dean's List honorees sorted by hometown. Media may also use the drop-down box titled Home Town to search for a specific town.
Criteria for earning Dean's List status include grade point averages, which place the student among the top 10 percent of students majoring within the college. Students whose major does not place them in the Colleges of Applied Science and Technology, Arts and Sciences, Education, Fine Arts and Mennonite College of Nursing will be included in the list of the Vice President and Provost.
