Illinois State Board of Trustees Approves Naming

Illinois State University's Board of Trustees today approved the naming of the Bob and Julie Dobski Welcome Center in the Student Fitness Center and McCormick Hall building in honor of their contributions to the University.

Bob and Julie Dobski recently gave gifts to the College of Business and the Student Fitness Center, and they have been long-time supporters of the University in academics, athletics and advancement.

Bob Dobski serves as an Illinois State University trustee, for which he has completed a Trustee-in-Residence program and serves as a member of the audit committee. Julie Dobski participates in the Red Hot events, a group of women who gather several times a year to learn about the many different aspects of Illinois State.
