Big Band Dance Feb. 13

Illinois State University Jazz Ensembles I and II will present the Valentine's Big Band Dance on Sunday, Feb. 13, from 7 - 10 p.m. at The New Lafayette Club, 1602 S. Main St. Bloomington. 

Admission to the event is $15 per person at the door with all proceeds going to support jazz music activities at Illinois State.  The event will feature band music from the 1930s and 1940s, as well as a wide variety of ballroom dance styles including cha-cha-cha, rhumba, waltz, swing, salsa and samba.  A cash bar will be available and those attending are asked to not wear jeans or t-shirts.
