"The White Plague: Managing Tuberculosis in Russia" will be the topic of a presentation by Wendy Woith on Wednesday, Feb. 16, from 12-1 p.m. in the Bone Student Center First Floor West Lounge. The event is free and open to the public.
Woith is an assistant professor in Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University. Her research focuses on international nursing practice and leadership, decreasing tuberculosis infection rates of Russian healthcare workers and examining the care of tuberculosis patients in Russia.
Her presentation is part of Illinois State University's International Studies Seminar Series exploring topics in global politics and culture. The seminar series is organized by the Unit for International Linkages, Office of International Studies and Programs, and the Women's and Gender Studies Program.
