Illinois State University actuarial science scholarships have been announced for the Spring 2011 semester.
State Farm Scholars in Actuarial Science are Alexander Beruscha, of Algonquin, Rebecca Clark of Ancona, Katherine Jean (also a Katie Scholar), of Rantoul, Matthew Olson of Shorewood, Lisa Pankau of West Dundee, Rebecca Peisker of Crystal Lake, Jason Rohlfs of Emden, and Alyson Weber, of Germantown Hills.
Country Scholars in Actuarial Science are Cory Brown, of Mt. Zion, Matthew Certa, of Morris, Hannah Esker, of Effingham, and Brandon Wolfe, of Orangeville.
Zurich Scholar is Benjamin Leifheit, of Bloomington. Pinnacle Scholar is Leah Brewbaker, of Morris. American Family Scholar is Daniel Norman, of Channahon. Katie Scholar is Tyler Lueck, of Macomb.
The State Farm Scholar in Actuarial Science awards, funded by the State Farm Foundation, and the Country Financial Scholar in Actuarial Science awards, are for students with a grade point average of 3.5 overall and 3.7 in the major and who place in the top 20 percent overall and top 5 percent in mathematics in national standardized tests.
