Seasonal Flu Shots Now Available on Campus

Student Health Services is now offering seasonal flu shots to students and employees. Appointments are required to receive the shot. Students can make appointments through Student Health Services' web site www.shs.ilstu.edu. Employees should call 438-2778 for appointments. The shots are in high demand and appointments will be granted contingent upon supply of the vaccine.

Shots are free to students. They are also free to employees covered by the State of Illinois Employee Group Health Insurance plans as the primary insured.

Flu shots are $30 for employees who are not listed as the primary insured on a State of Illinois Employee Group Health Insurance plan.

The seasonal flu shot is not the H1N1 (swine flu) shot and will not protect against H1N1. Students and employees should visit Student Health Services' web site to learn who is recommended for each vaccine and about future availability of the H1N1 vaccine and information.

Student Health Services is located in the Student Services Building on the corner of College and University, across the street from the Bone Student Center.
