The Bone Student Center is hosting the first-ever "Late Night at the Bone" event on Friday, Oct. 2 from 8 p.m. to midnight. The Bone Student Center will host a variety of free activities exclusively for Illinois State students including a bags tournament, bowling, billiards, karaoke, inflatable games, featured Beatles Rock Band video game, money machine, and a rock climbing wall. Most of these activities will provide students with the opportunity to win prizes such as a Nintendo Wii, iPod, one semester of free textbook use for two students, and much more!
As a special feature for the night, the University Program Board will host a free showing of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" in Braden Auditorium at 10:30 p.m. In addition, Harry Potter-themed activities will be held in the East Lounge, including a chance to test your knowledge on the series with a UPB-sponsored trivia game.
Bone Student Center Executive Director Jim Carlson is looking forward to providing students with a night to fully enjoy the facility and showcase all the changes made within the last six months. "The Bone Student Center has gone through a number of renovations based upon student feedback," said Carlson. "This is a night to really show students that this is a place for them and take the opportunity to communicate all that the Bone Student Center has to offer."
