Institute for Prospective Cognition Speaker Nov. 5

The Institute for Prospective Cognition colloquium speaker series "Virtually Human: Science, Art and the 21st Century Self" will feature a presentation by Jacqueline Nadel on Thursday, Nov. 5 at noon in 238 Schroeder Hall. Nadel's talk is entitled "Where do you end and I begin? The social nature of a developing mind."

Nadel is a Professor of developmental psychology and is the CNRS Research Director of the Emotion Centre at the University Pierre & Marie Curie, Pitie-Salpetriere, France. Nadel is a co-editor of "Emotional development. Recent research advances."

A reception will follow the presentation from 1-2 p.m. in 417 Schroeder Hall. The presentation and reception are free and open to the public.

The Institute for Prospective Cognition is sponsored by The Fell Trust Foundation, the College of Arts and Sciences, Psi Chi and SPA student organizations and the Departments of Languages, Literatures & Cultures, Philosophy, Psychology, and Sociology and Anthropology.
