A unique performance called "Got Rhythm?" at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, will feature students and their teacher in an evening of rhythms, games, songs, dance, story-telling and character portrayal.
The performance in Kemp Recital Hall is free and open to the public.
School of Music Associate Professor Oforiwaa Aduonum, an ethnomusicologist from Ghana, teaches a class in Black Music and two in World Music. Student from all three classes will participate in "Got Rhythm?" which Aduonum calls "a musical performance by ordinary students."
