Madrigal Dinners Begin 54th Season on Dec. 2

The 2009 Madrigal Dinners at Illinois State University will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the Alumni Center, 1101 N. Main Street in Normal.  Tickets are $40 for the general public and $30 for students and senior citizens 60 and older, and can be purchased at (309) 438-2535 or at ticketmaster.com

The Madrigal Dinners at Illinois State, celebrating 54 years of performances, allows participants to enjoy an Italian feast, champagne toast and traditional and contemporary madrigal holiday singing by ISU's acclaimed Madrigal Singers.

Dinner performances are scheduled Dec. 2 to 5 and 10 to 12.  The programs begin at 6:30 p.m.
