Composition Students to Perform Original Pieces

The ISU Music Factory, comprised to students studying composition with Martha C. Horst and Carl Schimmel of the School of Music, will present a concert featuring premiere performances of original compositions at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, in Kemp Recital Hall.

Admission is free and open to the public.

The compositions range from solo piano works to pieces for chamber choir.  For some of the student composers, the concert will be the first time they have heard a work of theirs performed live in front of an audience. For others, this concert will feature works that they have been creating for over a year.
