Researchers and industry professionals from around the nation and across the globe will attend the 2010 Electro/Information Technology Conference, May 20-22, at Illinois State University. The conference will focus on research in electrical and computer engineering as it relates to information technology (IT) and its applications.
The conference, sponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), will feature presentations and workshops on basic and applied research in areas such as biomedical applications, distributed computing, transportation technologies, green IT, wireless communication, nanotechnology, and engineering and IT education. Exhibits at the three-day event will showcase new technology tools and products.
Conference keynote speakers will be Hojjat Adeli, professor of civil engineering, Ohio State University; Peter W. Sauer, chair, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; Satish Udpa, dean, College of Engineering, Michigan State University; and Mark Oakley, systems vice president, State Farm.
