The Illinois State University Planetarium will present Bear Tales and Other Grizzly Stories, July 8 - 31. Show times are Wednesdays at 2 p.m. and Fridays at 7:30 p.m. There will be no presentation of Bear Tales on Friday, July 17.
The show features a variety of stories told by Grandpa Ben and his family as they camp under the stars of early-summer. Bear Tales and Other Grizzly Stories, which includes legends from ancient Egypt and Greece and even a tale about Blackbeard the Pirate, is suitable for the whole family.
Admission to the Planetarium's public programs is $4 for adults, $3 for children ages 5-12 and seniors, and $2 for children ages 3-4. The Planetarium is located under the white domed roof at the eastern end of Felmley Hall of Science, located at the intersection of School St. and College Ave. in Normal.
