Chinese Thinking Like Americans Subject of Seminar Feb. 24

"Chinese Thinking Like Americans: Control Deprivation Influences Scene Perception and Cognitive Processing" will be the topic of a presentation by Xinyue Zhou on Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 12-1 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Third Floor East Lounge.  The event is free and open to the public.

Zhou, a professor of psychology at Sun Yat-Sen University in Guangzhou, China, is also a 2009-2010 Freeman Fellow in the Center for East Asian and Pacific Studies at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  Her presentation is part of Illinois State University's International Studies Seminar Series exploring topics in global politics and culture. The seminar series is organized by the Unit for International Linkages, Office of International Studies and Programs, and the Women's and Gender Studies Program.
