Army ROTC Fall Commissioning Ceremony Dec. 11

Illinois State University's Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) will hold its Fall 2009 commissioning ceremony at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, in the Bone Student Center Old Main Room.

Illinois State cadets being commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army are Jeremiah J. Paterson, Glen Carbon; Michael L. Kuvales, Palos Hills; Lorrie A. Novak, Oak Forest; Jennifer M. Norman, Herscher; and John W. Learned, Bloomington.

Colonel Scot MacKenzie will be the featured speaker during the ceremony.  MacKenzie is with the U.S. Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Command, based at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.  He currently serves as the drawdown director for the Communications Electronics Command, responsible for the drawdown of critical communications and intelligence systems from Iraq.
