Japanese Election Topic of Seminar Sept. 9

"Japan's 2009 Election: Organized Chaos" will be the topic of a presentation by Louis G. Perez on Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 12-1 p.m. in the Bone Student Center 3rd Floor East Lounge.  The event is free and open to the public.

Perez is a professor of Japanese and East Asian history at Illinois State University.  He is the author of several books on East Asian history, including volumes on life in pre-modern and modern Japan.  His presentation is part of Illinois State University's International Studies Seminar Series exploring topics in global politics and culture. The seminar series is organized by the Unit for International Linkages, Office of International Studies and Programs, and the Women's and Gender Studies Program.
