GIS Software Training Session May 10 & 11

The Institute for Geospatial Analysis & Mapping (GEOMAP) at Illinois State University is offering a two-day training course on the use of advanced Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software on May 10 & 11.

 "Introduction to ArcGIS I" is the premier training course for ArcGIS 9.3 software.  The intensive two-day training session is intended for those new to GIS or those wishing to explore further their knowledge of GIS software.  ArcGIS is full-featured GIS software for visualization, creation, management and analysis of geographic data and is made by ESRI, a leading producer of GIS technology. 

The cost is $500, which includes textbook, exercise book, CD, and certificate of completion. A discounted rate of $450 is available for government and nonprofit registrants and $400 for faculty, staff and students.  Registration deadline is Friday, April 23
