Illinois State University's Gamma Phi Circus will hold its annual spring performances on Friday, April 23, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 24, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets for the shows are $12 for adults, $10 for students, $8 for children 5 - 12, and $1 for children under 5 years of age. Tickets can be purchased at the Braden Box Office or at Ticketmaster.com
This year's Gamma Phi Circus performances will feature flying trapeze, multiple trapeze and trampoline casting acts. Other featured acts will include tightrope work, German wheel, Russian swing, hand balancing, juggling and tumbling.
Founded by Clifford "Pop" Horton in 1929, Gamma Phi Circus is the oldest collegiate circus in North America. The non-profit organization was created to allow Illinois State students to practice and perform circus arts and develop leadership skills.
