Brown to Speak on Effective Leadership April 21

Illinois State University Alumni Hall of Fame member Willie Brown '73 will present "Essentials of Effective Leadership" on Wednesday, April 21, at 4 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Brown Ballroom. The event is free and open to the public.

Brown recently retired as executive vice president of State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company. He began his career with that company in 1971 and served in various roles of increasing responsibility. He is a strong advocate of the College of Business and Illinois State University and serves the Bloomington-Normal community in a variety of leadership roles.

The event is sponsored by Illinois State's Department of Management and Quantitative Methods and Organizational Leadership Institute.
