Tickets Purchase, Giveaway For Upcoming Local Foods Dinner

Tickets are still available for the local food dinner for members of the University community in the Linkins Dining Center on September 23, from 6:30 - 8 p.m.  Ten tickets to the dinner are also being given away to off-campus students who are not on a dining hall meal plan.

 The dinner, hosted by Campus Dining Services, will feature a diverse menu of local foods and give diners the chance to meet some of the farmers who produced the ingredients.  Tickets for the event can be purchased at the Watterson, Southside at Feeney and Linkins dining centers.  Meal plan participants may purchase a ticket with one meal access.  For all other members of the University community, the price of a ticket is $25. 

Off-campus students not on a meal plan can enter to win a free ticket to the dinner by emailing GreenTeam@IllinoisState.edu and creatively explaining why they deserve a ticket.  The top ten responses will be awarded a ticket.  Deadline for entry is this Friday, (Sept. 19) at noon.  Winners will be notified via email.
