The first performance of all the choirs in the Illinois State University School of Music will take place at the Choral Showcase at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, in the Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall. Tickets are $6 for the general public, 5 for faculty-staff and $4 for students and senior citizens. They are available at the CPA box office.
Performers will include the Men's Glee directed by Tim Fredstrom; Madrigal Singers, Belle Voix and the Concert Choir all directed by Karyl Carlson; and the Women's Glee Club conducted by new faculty member Sarah Graham. The Belle Voix performance will include music they will perform at the Illinois Music Educators Association All-State Conference in January.
