One of its most popular and well-attended exhibitions - the MFA Biennial - will open in the University Galleries at Illinois State University on Nov. 11 and run through Dec. 14. An opening reception will be held at 5 p.m. on Nov. 11. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
Held every two years, the MFA Biennial is an exhibition of artwork by all students currently pursuing a master of fine arts degree in the School of Art at Illinois State. Works submitted and displayed reflect the changing concerns and trends of the art world at large. The exhibition provides the community an excellent opportunity to evaluate and enjoy numerous artworks by students attending Illinois State.
