Illinois State University's Department of English will hold a memorial service for author and former Illinois State professor David Foster Wallace on Saturday, November 1, from 1-3 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Old Main Room.
Wallace, author of the critically acclaimed novels Infinite Jest and The Broom of the System as well as many stories and essays, taught at Illinois State from 1993 until 2002.
The memorial service will feature remembrances and tributes from fellow authors, colleagues, and former students.
