Global Review Speaker Nov. 20 to Discuss World Trade, Globalization

"World Trade and Globalization: Benefits, Costs, and Current Issues" will be the topic of Ray Cohn, Economic at the Global Review presentation at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, in Schroeder Hall room 244 at Illinois State University.

Admission is free and open to the public.  This is the final Global Review of the semester.

The presentation will highlight the growing importance of world trade to countries throughout the world and explain why this trend has occurred.  Both the positive and the negative economic effects of international trade on the countries involved will be examined.  Current international negotiations concerning existing barriers to international trade will be discussed along with their possibility of success.

Global Review at Illinois State University is a weekly scheduled forum sponsored by the Global Review Student Association.  Global Review features guest speakers, panel discussions, alternative perspectives and open debates on international events and issues.
