Stage and film actor Anthony Rapp, best known for playing Mark in both the Broadway and film versions of "Rent," will speak at 7 p.m. Monday, March 30, in Braden Auditorium at Illinois State University.
Admission is free and open to the public. The event is sponsored by the University Program Board.
Rapp, who is a native of Joliet and graduate of Joliet West High School, will discuss his stage and film work as well as his 2006 book, "Without You: A Memoir of Love, Loss and the Musical 'Rent'."
Among Rapp's noteworthy credits are the films "Dazed and Confused," "A Beautiful Mind," "School Ties," "Road Trip," the Broadway revival of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," the stage and film versions of "Six Degrees of Separation," and the stage, film and filmed-live-on-stage versions of "Rent."
