University Club Announces Scholarships for 10 Students

Ten students have received $300 scholarships from the University Club at Illinois State University.  The University Club, which includes current and retired faculty and staff, has sponsored the scholarship program for more than 20 years and has provided scholarship awards to more than 100 students. 

The 2008 scholarship recipients are Shelly Dobbins,a social work major from Bloomington; RoDina Williams, a clinical laboratory sciences major from Chicago; Lorryn Neely, an elementary education major from Flossmoor; Justin Wiegand, a management major from Gridley; Kristina Belgio, an acting and theatre management major from Naperville; Daniel Ballou-Tinnerello, a psychology major from Park Ridge; Eva Lawrence, a special education major from Schaumburg; Tammy Hong, a college student personnel and administration major from Houston, Texas; Emily Moore, a dietetics major from Madison, Wis.; and Emily Byrnes, an accounting major from Mt. Horeb, Wis.  

Members of University Club pay $20 a year that helps sponsor weekly discussion hours as well as the scholarship program.
