Spring Tree Walks with Don Schmidt

Spring is here and the time is right for a stroll among the trees.  Illinois State University horticulturist Don Schmidt will once again lead his popular spring tree walks on campus during April and May.  The guided walks are free and open to the public and begin at the Sassafras Grove seating area near Hovey Hall on the Illinois State quad.

An Earth Day tree walk will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22.  Other tree walks will be held on Friday, April 24 at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, May 2 at 11 a.m., and Sunday, May 3 at 1 p.m.
