Chamber Music Recital April 16 for Strings and Piano

Five School of Music faculty members will join forces for a piano and strings chamber music recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16, in Kemp Recital Hall.  The event is part of the Charles W. Bolen Faculty Recital Series and is free and open to the public.

Violinist Sarah Gentry, violist Kate Lewis, cellist Adriana La Rosa Ransom, pianist Paul Borg and pianist Tuyen Tonnu will be performing.  Their program will include Dvorák's Piano Quartet in D Major, Op. 23, and "To The Spirit Unconquered" for Piano, Violin, and Cello by Sheila Silver.  Silver is a composer on the faculty at Stony Brook University in New York.
